This interface describs a simple test for the IIOP protocol designed
by Sun and contributed as part of their free IIOP implementation.  The
file cubit.isl contains an ISL version of the Sun cubit.idl OMG IDL
interface.

To build this example, you must first have installed Python.  Then
copy the files in this directory to another test directory, and cd to
that directory.

  % ilumkmf
  % make
  python-stubber cubit.isl
  client stubs for interface "cubit" to cubit.py ...
  server stubs for interface "cubit" to cubit__skel.py ...

To run this example, first start the server:

  % python cubitServer.py

Then try the client, passing as an argument the URL output by the server:

You can also FTP the original Sun IIOP code from
ftp://omg.org/pub/interop/iiop.tar.Z, and try building the "clnt" and
"svr" programs, and running them against these clients and servers, to
see some inter-ORB interoperability.
